Another wonderful and very varied gathering of your finds is on display this month, including an impressive selection of coinage. It’s always good to see a coin of Allectus as in the fine galley quinarius, and the denarius of Julia Domna is a really pleasing specimen. Hammered coinage is well represented with an Edward IV groat with a lovely tone. Artefacts include a Bronze Age or Roman gold loop and three medieval seal matrices, one being silver with an inset Roman intaglio.
